Summer Fun

My daughter and family arrived fittingly on Father's Day and stayed with us until this morning. It was a whirlwind of activities including basketball camp, trips to the zoo, Legoland, swimming, surfing at the beach and fishing at Big Bear. Looking back, what made this summer so much fun, was just being together. And it was also lovely to share our garden with the grandchildren. They had a great time harvesting the flowers and arranging them for our family dinners as well as caring for the vegetables. My only regret is that our time together passed much too quickly, but come December, I look forward to winter fun with the family!
