A Pyramid of Pumpkins
Descriptive words about our GardenLife tour to the National Heirloom Exposition in Santa Rosa, California as well as visits to the Luther Burbank home and gardens, Korbel Champagne Cellars and the Kendall Jackson Wine Estates are sadly inadequate, but hopefully this photo will give you a glimpse into the incredible sights. Although I will share more in next week's GardenLife Newsletter, I had to include the manager at The Great Pumpkin Patch, Mac Condill's, amazing pyramid of pumpkins, squash and gourds that was at the entrance to the heirloom fruit and vegetable displays. This Illinois farm under the guidance of Mac, created the same gigantic display on the White House lawn last fall.
