  1. The hellebore grown by Susan in Redding is amazing. I wonder if she has any tips for keeping it so green and healthy looking? Do the flowers come in different colors? I'm also wondering if they can take the very cold winters here in Ashland, Oregon.

  2. Hi Kathy, Hellebores do very well in USDA zones 4-10 and they make beautiful color highlights in the shady garden this time of year. For more information, I wrote a short feature on hellebore hybrids for the March 4 GardenLife newsletter. Hope you plant some hellebores - you will love them!
